The recently launched landscaping department of the RTA will be taking the opportunity to exhibit their landscaping project plans for making Dubai a 'greener' place to live in.
Conscious of the need to develop an environment that considers the people who live in and visit Dubai, the RTA plans to provide an integrated landscaping solution to complement the many new transportation projects currently being developed in and around the city.
As an integral element of these plans, RTA will not only undertake landscaped areas in and around their developments, but will also include cycling, jogging tracks and recreational areas as part of road landscaping projects.
Gavin Morlini the exhibition manager states 'We are delighted to have the RTA taking part in the exhibition this year; we feel it is the ideal platform to display their plans to enhance both the environment and lifestyle of the population.'
He went on to add: 'Gardens and Landscaping is a booming industry in the UAE and the region. Consequently the show, that runs 13-15 May 2007 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, is set to offer outdoor architectural solutions for landscape architects and specialist retailers.
The show which has 80 per cent of exhibitors re-confirmed from last year is in-line with the RTA aims and objectives to encourage an aesthetically pleasing Dubai', he concluded.
With over 200 exhibitors from around the globe, the show will present a wide range of innovative and creative solutions and products that will be of interest to professionals, contractors and landscape architects alike.
