Property developer Nakheel has formed a strategic alliance with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority to discuss future utility requirements at its various ongoing projects. It is thought the residential and hotel population at its three island projects as well as The World and Dubai Waterfront could hit 3m when they are completed. Nakheel will develop around 2m sqft of land in the next 20 years.
