In line with this expansion strategy, STME appointed Mr. Tarek Hindi as Regional Manager for Egypt and Levant to support the company as it experiences its highest growth rates worldwide after reaching a new sales record of 36% increase during the first half of 2006, compared to the same period the year before. This rate is the highest ever reached by STME since its establishment.
"Over the past few years, the region's markets have developed better understanding of the importance of data storage applications, especially in Mission Critical operations like telecommunications, banking, oil & gas, and government authorities," said Hindi. STME's expansion plan focuses on increasing cooperation with these sectors aiming at doubling its market share, which reached 15% last year.
Hindi added that STME's work strategy is built on its strong relations with global companies like Sun Microsystems, Symantec, NetApp, HDS and CISCO the thing that supports STME in developing effecting data storage solutions that ensures high data security and effective management.
The newly appointed STME Regional Manager, Tarek Hindi previously held the position of General Manager, Egypt and Levant at Tech Access, where he played a vital role in building and expanding the company's operations.
