As of May 1st, 2007, the DME Membership Committee has recognized Orion Brokers DMCC as one of the select few companies that can access and trade on the trading platform of the DME.
The DME is a 50/50 joint-venture between the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. (NYMEX) and a Dubai Holding's subsidiary 'Tatweer Dubai Limited'.
NYMEX is internationally recognized as the global leader in energy trading exchanges offering liquid futures and options markets in light sweet crude oil, refined products and a number of energy-related and precious metals contracts.
By this move, Orion Brokers DMCC further solidifies its vision of global recognition, adds exchange-traded crude oil futures to its comprehensive line of products, and most importantly, further empowers investors with yet another world class exchange and service provider.
Mr. Mohamed Khalil, CEO of Orion Holding Overseas, lamented this move as one of the best steps Orion Brokers has taken, adding 'This is another attestation to our successful business model; clients can finally invest with a reliable local partner armed with the same infrastructure used by NYMEX'. Mr. Khalil added that 'our clients will now be able to trade multiple products of multiple exchanges in one account on a superior platform'.
With such attention and regulation of the Financial Industry and solid forward vision exemplified by HH Sheikh Muhammad Bin Rashid's outstanding prudence, Dubai is truly en route to becoming a financial hub with no less respect than New York, London or Hong Kong.
Dubai Mercantile Exchange adds new member: Orion Brokers DMCC
Orion Brokers DMCC, a Dubai-based subsidiary of Orion Global Financial Services LLC which is owned by Orion Holding Overseas S.A, has been awarded one of the select few 'Off-Floor' Memberships available in the Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited (DME).
