Al Tayer said that the project involves the development and improvement of the existent bridge on the Al Khawaneej Road Intersection with Al Jazaer Road that separates between Mirdif and Al Muhaisina, pointing out that the existent bridge would be replaced with a bridged intersection of high traffic capacity, in addition to the expansion of Al Khawaneej Road by 3.4 km and Al Jazaer Road by 1.6 km, which would both contribute to ease off the traffic jam on this intersection.

He added that a diversion would be constructed to give a free left turn for those who come from Al Khawaneej Road towards Al Muhaisina. A tunnel would also be constructed to ensure the traffic flow for those who come from the Emirates Road towards Al Khawaneej Road. The project would also include all the services relate to the irrigation, sewage, lighting and traffic signs, as well as the landscaping gardening.
