The Office Exhibition 2007 confirms its Workplace Freedom Seminar programme
- United Arab Emirates: Monday, May 21 - 2007 at 11:05
- PRESS RELEASE
In addition to the extensive range of products, services and cutting edge technologies on offer at The Office Exhibition, this annual event has long been renowned for its innovative and forward looking programme of Workplace Freedom Seminars, held durating the show, and with contributions from some of the leading international authorities in office design and innovation.
"Today's office is much more than a standard workspace. It is an opportunity to create a motivating, communicative and innovative environment," she says. "And with an increasing number of posture-related injuries, not to mention the enormous amount of productivity that companies lose every year as a result, the ergonomic design of work areas is also extremely high on the agenda."
And as always, many of the topics at this year's seminar, to be held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre from the 3rd to 5th June, will focus on the office of the future, presented by some of the leading authorities in office design. Issues such as how can interior design impact informal interactions (an increasingly important aspect of company innovation), or 'third space' social areas? Or how can you prepare for and facilitate the inevitable aspect of change in the workplace?
Also on the programme is the concept of the Village Office - a working environment which incorporates both business and leisure needs, as boundaries between living and working become increasingly blurred; how the future office will strike a balance between corporate standards and creativity; and the growing role of mobility in business communications.
"That's what the show is all about," concludes Paula. "Looking to the future to create office environments that truly reflect the needs of staff, ensuring productivity and staff retention in the long term."
