Bahrain Insurance Association visits Central Bank to advance efforts in insurance industry

In a step towards the advancement of the insurance industry in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) H.E. Mr. Anwar Al Saddah met a delegation from the Bahrain Insurance Association (BIA) Board headed by Mr. Ashraf Bseisu, BIA Chairman, to the CBB offices in Manama.
The visit was attended by Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Baker and Mr. Tawfiq Shehab, from the CBB, and Mr. Ebrahim Al Rayes and Mr. Yahya Nooruddin from the BIA.
The Chairman of BIA presented a souvenir gift to the Deputy Governor as a token of appreciation for the CBB's and his continual support to the industry and lately the opening of the new BIA headquarters in diplomatic area in Manama.
On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Al Saadah highlighted the importance of the role played by the BIA in promoting and developing the insurance industry in the Kingdom and in promoting Bahrain as the insurance hub in the region.
Mr. Ashraf Bseisu, Chairman of the BIA, thanked Mr. Al Saddah for the overall support to strengthen the BIA's role and to increase its activities hoping to play an effective role in enhancing the coordination between the private sector and governmental institutions to increase levels of awareness amongst the public, promote higher standards of client service and support the advancement of the kingdom's economy.
