Changes at City 7 TV continue

Khoury-Bakir's announcement is the latest in a string of new postings for the station as it formalises its new management group, a hand picked team of award-winning media professionals with local and international experience. The new management structure is just the first of many developments the station will be unveiling over the next few months as it positions itself as Dubai's first independent, local English language channel.

The Palestine native, fluent in both English and Arabic, will oversee all affairs related to human resources, corporate affairs, and administration for the channel. Khoury-Bakir brings 13 years of experience in the region to City 7, most recently as sales manager at 'VIVA,' ITP's monthly lifestyle and fashion publication, where she managed distribution, circulation and related public relations activities. Prior to ITP, Khoury-Bakir was sales and marketing manager at 'Brandshare,' the UAE's first ever Arabic university student magazine.

'Rana's experience and skills make her another strong addition to our new team as we implement our vision of becoming Dubai's independent, local television station,' says Mohi din bin Hendi, president and founder of City 7 TV. Bin Hendi added that there will be much more change on air and off in the next few weeks, as the station unveils its new look.
