- PRESS RELEASE
Two thousand people gathered at the Sheikh Rashid Hall at Dubai World Trade Centre recently to watch Al Mawakeb students display their dramatic talents in the Rahbani brothers play Jbal Al Sawan.
Over AED500,000 was raised during the event and a cheque was presented to H.E. Ibrahim bu Malha, Deputy Board Chairman of the Mohammad bin Rashid Charity Foundation. The funds will be used to aid the Trillion for Lebanon Campaign, which aims to raise one trillion Lebanese pounds (Dh2.54 billion) to help rebuild Lebanon.
"We are extremely proud of our talented and dedicated students, who spent over four months preparing for this production," said Adonis Nasr, CEO, Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI). "The funds raised will go to a cause that is close to all our hearts—helping to rebuild shattered lives."
