The C8600 carved out a new category of affordable business colour printers that are half the overall size and almost half the price of competitor products. Today OKI Printing Solutions expands the range by introducing the C8800 which includes PCL/Postscript capability as standard. This feature is ideal for corporate environments as it provides improved compatibility and enhanced document security for protecting data sent across a network.
Like the C8600, the C8800 provides superior digital LED printing at a price considerably lower than competitor A3 colour products, inkjet or mono only devices.
Providing an A3 printer that can quietly operate within easy reach of users will significantly benefit a number of professionals who regularly print spreadsheets, booklets, workplans and charts. For those undertaking more creative applications the C8800 can also print from A6 to A3 and up to 1.2m long banners. Additionally, professionals requiring a printer capable of supporting graphical design applications will also benefit owing to the Postscript capability supporting both Mac and PC platforms.
Like all new OKI Printing Solutions colour products, the C8800 is founded on High Definition Color; the company's own unique collection of hardware and software technologies, which deliver unsurpassed colour print quality and ease of use.
"With the launch of the category defining C8600, OKI Printing Solutions was the first European printer manufacturer to make high performance, compact A3 colour printing affordable for businesses,"
said John Ross, general manage, Oki Printing Solutions, Middle East. "With the C8800 we are now going one step further. We have extended this award-winning technology to provide businesses with a choice of compact A3 printers to address their specific printing requirements."
Visitors of 'Oki Open Day' will have the chance to see hands on demonstrations on the new products and meet Oki Printing Solutions executives to answer their enquiries.
