ZAC announces launch of multiple new products

Zamil Air Conditioners (ZAC), a business unit of Zamil Industrial Investment Company and the leading international manufacturer of air conditioning systems in the Middle East, is pleased to announce the launch of the PS and PT series of Packaged Roof Top Air Conditioners and the 50HZ series of ALQ Chillers.

These new product lines combine the latest technological advances with excellent engineering to offer new applications for cooling residential, commercial and light industrial spaces.

New Packaged Roof Top Units

The new PS and PT series consists of 12 models ranging from three to 30 tons in cooling capacity. The units are available both in 60 Hz (PS) and 50 Hz (PT) applications. Due to advanced engineering, this series is more compact, lightweight, and has simplified the manufacturing process.

Designed to meet all the requirements of residential, commercial and light industrial applications, the new units are available in a wide range of capacities, from 3TR thru 30TR. Residential customers will be attracted to their compact dimensions, lightweight construction, and optimized airflow allowing for more efficient cooling and greater comfort.

Additional features that make these units convenient and user friendly include: microprocessor based "Performex" controls, high efficiency compressors, enhanced heat transfer coils, factory installed options with an intelligent air quality system using economizers and UV flow emitters, and easy service accessibility for all components.

New Chiller Series

ZAC has recently launched the Cooline ALQ, a new Chiller series also developed for residential and light commercial applications. With the addition of this new series, the ZAC chiller line for the 50HZ ranges now from 10 ton to 440-ton capacity. Largely intended for export, ALQ units utilize both R22 refrigerant and the environmentally friendly R407c alternative.

The series comprises 13 models ranging from 10 to 70 tons refrigeration capacity. They contain high efficiency scroll compressors and heat exchangers, resulting in improved energy conservation. The simple design and compact construction add to customer appeal.

ZAC has also developed a special new chiller for industrial use. The new unit supplies chilled water to the shower and eye wash apparatus commonly used in battery charging areas, laboratories, and areas where hazardous substances are kept or dispensed. ZAC expects to supply these new units to petrochemical plants, where law mandates shower and eye wash facilities of this type.

"We are certain that the new packaged units will increase the competitive edge of ZAC in the market place. We are always looking for new ways to provide the products our clients are looking for, as well as the value and convenience. We have raised the benchmark with the launch of the PS and PT series, but will continue to strive to serve our customers through advanced R&D efforts," says Osama Bunyan, Executive Vice President, ZAC.

"Moreover, the new Chiller series represents the continued commitment of ZAC to develop products according to the needs and concerns of our customers. We have made every effort to produce units that offer customers a product choice that reflects concern for the environment and energy efficiency at an affordable price," added Mr. Bunyan.
