- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, May 22 - 2007 at 15:28
- PRESS RELEASE
Omniyat Properties will be a platinum sponsor of the upcoming International Design Forum (IDF), to be held in Dubai at the Madinat Jumeirah Conference Hall from 27-29 May, 2007.
With its track record of providing revolutionary development and intelligent property designs, Omniyat is a natural partner for IDF. The event is also an appropriate forum for the company as it will address challenges facing the design community and examine the role of designers in guiding national development and contribute to future innovations.
Khalid Al Malik, CEO of Tatweer, said: "Omniyat Properties has always provided uniquely designed buildings, which enhance the quality of life for its community and excel others, in exterior as well as interior design. This is in line with the IDF's efforts to tap into the design community and to find innovative ways to enhance the quality of our societies.
"Omniyat's sponsorship also illustrates the IDF's relevance to the UAE real estate sector, a key sector figuring prominently in our country's development. This itself is an important statement."
As part of the sponsorship deal, Omniyat Properties' President and CEO Mehdi Amjad will deliver a speech, after the keynote address, on the importance of maintaining unique designs without compromising on the quality and efficiency of space usage.
Omniyat Properties which will co-produce IDF sessions, is also invited to contribute to knowledge publications and reports. Agreements are also in place for Omniyat to manage the Forum agenda and arrange bilateral meetings in conjunction with Moutamarat with other companies and public figures.
Omniyat has been one of the frontrunners to focus on developing futuristic properties where technology and innovation have been the key attributes utilized to improve people's lifestyles in the region.
Mehdi Amjad, President and CEO, Omniyat Holdings and Omniyat Properties, said: "Our sponsorship reflects our recognition of the design community's role and its strong impact on the society and our region's development.
"We feel privileged to be involved in a pioneering event like the IDF which will provide a much needed platform to showcase the design community and discuss the challenges it faces."
