CMCS was awarded the contract by the Atlantis Construction Management Team (ACMT), the construction management arm of Kerzner. The CMCS software being used on the Atlantis project-Primavera Expedition Contract Manager 10.1 and Decision Edge-provides centralized and standardized project information and integrated, real-time collaboration tools.
Bassam Samman, CEO and Founder of CMCS, said:
'Our applications allow businesses to reduce the complexitity and increase the efficiency of managing their operations. Using our Primavera applications, the Atlantis team of over 450 engineers and site staff will have instantaneous access to information regarding every aspect of the project. Primavera manages scope, accounting, estimating-everything you need to take projects from original estimate to completion.'
Samman added that as well as providing the ACMT team with accurate and timely data, Primavera's advanced applications will dramatically reduce the chance of miscommunication and information back-logs, as well as cutting back on redundancy, reducing team costs and review time.
'When you're managing a project as ambitious as Atlantis, The Palm, it's vital that you are also able to manage the enormous amount of information that's produced on a daily basis,' Samman said. 'We are confident that ACMT will be able to perform its management duties effectively using our software.'
