DM organizes seminar to mark World Migratory Bird Day

The Environment Department and the Public Parks and Horticulture Department in Dubai Municipality is jointly organizing a seminar titled 'Migratory Birds in a Changing Climate,' Thursday to mark the World Migratory Bird Day.

The seminar, to be held at 10am at the Municipal Council Hall, will be addressed by Dr. Mohammed Ali Reza Khan, Head of Dubai Zoo and Mohammed Anisuzzaman Khan, Senior Nature Conservation Officer in the Environment Department.

Eng. Hamdan Al Shaer, Director of Environment Department will deliver the introductory speech in the seminar.

Dr. Reza Khan will talk about "Migratory Birds of UAE," with a focus on the flyways and the potential threats of bird flu. Anis Khan will speak on "Migratory Birds in a Changing Climate."

Ahmed Mohammed AbdulKarim, Director of Public Parks and Horticulture Department will deliver the concluding speech in the seminar.
