'For more than five decades, Wyeth has been helping parents in the Middle East raise healthy children. We are enthusiastic sponsors of the Mother, Baby & Child Show because we see it as a terrific partner that shares our goals,' said Bob Holz, Marketing Director Nutrition Division, Wyeth Nutrition.

Previously held only in Dubai, 2007 marks the first year that the show will be held in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The Abu Dhabi show will be held May 24-26 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, while the Dubai show will be held December 16-18 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.

'The show has proved itself to be an ideal way for Wyeth, and the many other exhibitors, to inform and educate the thousands of parents who attend on all aspects of childrearing. It also is a relaxed and informal way for us to meet with parents and healthcare professionals, listen to their concerns, and inform them of our latest products that enhance toddler nutrition,' Holz added.

An annual favourite with children, Wyeth's Progress Zone will again offer an even more memorable play area for toddlers 1-3 years of age and a comfortable place for parents to rest. A variety of educational games challenge young minds, alongside face painting, drawing activities, competitions, a soft toy play area, the opportunity for toddlers to have their picture taken with Goldie the Lion, amongst other new activities. Mothers can also register free of charge to the Wyeth Gold Careline on hand at the Progress Zone - the Wyeth Gold Careline enables mothers to receive free educational material regarding the nutrition of their infants and toddlers as well as their own nutrition during pregnancy and lactation.

During the Mother, Baby & Child Show, the Wyeth Progress Zone will feature the enhanced formulation of Progress Gold, now fortified with lutein, which promotes eye health in young children.

'Wyeth is always advancing when it comes to developing the nutrients that nourish healthy growing children. Because of the impact that the region's strong sun and generally sunny climate has on young eyes, this enhanced Progress Gold will be particularly beneficial to children living in the UAE,' Holz said.

The most recent Mother, Baby & Child Show, held in Dubai in December 2006 attracted more than 30,000 visitors and 130 exhibitors.
