Key players in the global media industry from 15 countries are already represented at the event. In addition, seven countries, representing a cross-section of Europe and Southeast Asia have confirmed their presence will be strong enough to warrant the presence of a national pavilion.

The strong European presence will be complemented by a solid Far East presence, with pavilions representing China, Korea and Taiwan. India will also host a national pavilion at the inaugural edition of GEMEX,' said Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Assistant General Manager of the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Dubai Media City (DMC), the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and International Conferences & Exhibitions (IC&E) have teamed up to create an immense international trade show. The exhibition will be complemented by a series of seminars, conferences and workshops being organised by Gambate! Communications Consultants, aimed at providing media professionals with an opportunity to learn about the newest trends and technologies fuelling growth of the media industry in the region and globally.
