Fujitsu Siemens Computers recognises excellence of Middle East channel partners

Fujitsu Siemens Computers today announced the recipients of its Middle East Business Partner Awards, recognising excellence among its growing community of Middle East-based channel partners.

On the sidelines of Fujitsu Siemens Computers' annual business partner conference in Jordan, eight regional companies were presented with awards for their roles in meeting the mobility and computing needs of organisations across the Middle East.

UAE-based ITL Cosmos and Saudi Arabia's BDL Co. were presented with the Best Distributor award for 2006. The Best Corporate Reseller award was handed to Emircom in the UAE and ACP in Saudi Arabia. Jarir Bookstores was awarded Best Retailer and Best Service Partner for the Kingdom, while Redington Gulf was named Best Services Partner for the UAE. The Biggest Strategic Deal award was bagged by Fujitsu Services, and Merlin Malat was awarded the Best Primergy Performer.

GCE Jordan was presented with the Best Corporate Reseller for the Rest of the Middle East (ROME), while Mantrac Egypt was awarded Best Distributor-ROME.

"Fujitsu Siemens Computer's growth in the ME region depends directly on our association with our regional business partners," said Sascha Haake, director SME and Channel Middle East, Fujitsu Siemens Computers. "Recognising the efforts of our business partners creates confidence and motivation. A key component of our overall strategy is to expand our partner network in the Middle East. We will continue to reinforce our partnerships through a clear channel strategy, scalable channel infrastructure, and value-based programs to ensure success through leveraging and obtaining new capabilities to boost market share."

In addition to receiving awards, participants in Fujitsu Siemens Computers' channel summit in Jordan also heard firsthand updates on the company's business strategy and technology roadmap for the next twelve months.
