Paramount properties of Dubai had signed a multi-million dollar contract with Hong Kong-based Ho & Partners for architectural support services for its US$ 370 million residential development project in Dubai.
Besides Ho being a top regional and Government of Hong Kong band 1 listed architectural consultant, P.S Khinda, CEO of Paramount added, 'The corporate values of Ho and partners, provides a great deal of synergy with our own brand philosophy. We felt their proposition matched our own vision for the Jumeirah Village South project.'
Based in the heart of Dubai, United Arab Emirates and spread over 750 hectares, the freehold master-planned residential development redefines the concept of community living through residential clusters that are interlaced by green areas and waterways.
Earlier, guest of honour at the official inauguration, Jiang Xue Gen, Vice Director of Shanghai Municipal People's Government, Foreign Economic Relations & Trade Commission Trade Development Department, extended a warm welcome to all exhibitors and delegates. 'I believe that Cityscape China 2007 will bring inspiring ideas to China's domestic real estate development and splendid opportunities to the real estate industry as a whole,' he stated.
Underlining the government's commitment to Cityscape China, Jiang Xue Gen was accompanied by Gong Weigang, Secretary General of Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Industries Association; Shen Zhengchao, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Real Estate Group and Zhao Long Jie, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of Shanghai Real Estate Association.
Covering a total of 6,000 square metres of exhibition space, 85 exhibitors from 24 different countries are participating at the industry showcase, which runs until Saturday 26th May 2007. Industry giants such as Limitless, Tanmiyat, Fortune Investment Group, Denis Lau, Arquitectonica, Hill International, Halcrow and GHD are amongst a host of international heavyweights on view.
Neil Hickman, Exhibition Director, commented, 'The fact that such a high-powered delegation has endorsed Cityscape China is indicative of the importance the government places on real estate investment and development throughout China and the global reach of the Cityscape brand.'

The inaugural Cityscape China opened Thursday 26 May at INTEX International Exhibition Centre Shanghai and within moments of the opening ceremony the first contracts were being signed, an enviable hallmark of the Cityscape brand.
