- PRESS RELEASE
Company to showcase its high performance glass at Airport Build and Supply Exhibition.
Mr. Ziad Yazbeck, General Manager, Emirates Glass said, "Such massive investments give us an ideal opportunity to seek our share of the expanding regional market. The prestigious Airport Build and Supply Exhibition scheduled to be held at the Dubai Airport Expo from May 28 - 30, 2007 will provide us with an excellent platform to achieve our long term strategic goals."
The regional market leader in premium glass products will have a 36 SQM stand, which will portray the company's production as well as manufacturing capabilities. The stand will also display the company's recent innovations in all aspects of glass production, including construction, fabrication and the use of façade technology.
At the show, Emirates Glass will be showcasing its Emicool SoLite series of glass, the new range of products which are high performance glass types that allow the architects to realize a very good combination of high internal daylight-factors whilst managing to optimize the cooling load for air-conditioning.
"Emicool SoLite series is the new range of products from Emirates Glass, that has been well-received by the market for its high light transmission and low shading coefficient aspects," said Mr. Yazbeck.
Additionally, Emirates Glass has already embarked on a major expansion plan at a cost of AED100 million to increase coating capacity by three million square metres per annum and bring the total capacity to 3.7 million square metres of flat glass products to meet a growing demand for architectural glass .
The expansion plan that is expected to be complete by early 2008 will also enable Emirates Glass to produce a wide range of high performance energy-efficient glass types with 'High Selectivity ' ratios, which are now being favoured among architects and developers throughout the region.
"Following the persistent regional construction boom, most of the recently announced high-profile projects have chosen architectural glass products from Emirates Glass. We have been able to meet the huge recent additional demand for our products because of our substantial investment in new equipment during the past year," remarked Mr. Yazbeck.
