The program involved students in safety related activities which included test drives and an educational challenge with a grand prize of a Nissan TIIDA sedan car.
For two days Nissan brought extreme excitement to the students with a dynamic safety driving experience which allowed them to test-drive the complete Nissan line-up from the King of all Terrain the famous Nissan Patrol to the sporty Nissan 350Z.
The fun activities also included online Nissan competitions in photography, videography and poetry. Students uploaded their talented creations which consisted of still pictures, one minute videos and poems revolving around Nissan. Winners were identified using the online voting mechanism and were rewarded during the closing ceremony of the Open Day.
Students and staff members of the Dubai Men's College were also engaged in this year's Nissan Awareness Challenge. Everyone's knowledge was tested through a rally paper challenge to answer a Nissan Awareness quiz, which entitled them to enter the draw for the Nissan TIIDA sedan. The thrill of the open day continued with the Nissan Car Pull challenge where different teams had to race and pull Nissan cars over a specified distance. The day concluded with the closing ceremony which witnessed the draw of the Nissan TIIDA and rewarding the students who participated in the different Nissan competitions.
Richard Zreik, Marketing Manager at Nissan Middle East, said: 'We were very pleased to support Dubai Men's College for the second time in their events. We wanted to offer the students fun packed activities which they can enjoy and benefit from during their Open Day. We have received excellent responses regarding this event which we definitely tend to roll out to other institutions in the region'.
