Contact lens wearers in the UAE have been warned to steer clear of Complete MoisturePlus-No Rub contact lens solution which is made by Advanced Medical Options, reported Gulf News. The advice follows the issuing of a warning on the product by the US Food and Drug Administration after 138 users contracted Acanthamoeba Keratitis, which can cause blindness. But AMO have stressed the infected batch is not on sale in the UAE.
