Oman signs Qarn Alam deals

Oman has agreed two engineering, procurement and construction contracts for Petroleum Development Oman's Qarn Alam steam-injection project, reported Gulf News. A deal for 'on plot' facilities was agreed with Dodsal, while 'off plot' facilities will be provided by Galfar Engineering and Contracting. The Qarn Alam project involves drilling 150 wells and installing facilities to treat water and generate 18,000 tonnes per day of steam.
