DCCI lifts certification fees for local manufacturers

Dubai-based manufacturers participating in trade shows, fairs and exhibitions abroad will be exempted from paying certificate-of-origin fees and related certification expenses, according to a decision by the Executive Office of the DCCI's Board of Directors. The ruling is effective immediately.
DCCI has helped organise a number of fairs and exhibitions abroad to promote local industry, especially in the Middle East and Arab World. For the first time recently, the Chamber participated in trade shows in India and West Africa.
Ahmed Al Banna, DCCI Assistant Director General for Studies and International Affairs, said: "The Chamber is committed to bringing itself closer to members and opening doors to make business quicker, easier and more effective."
Mr Al Banna continued: "The Chamber's ruling will further sharpen the competitive edge of local business and help develop opportunities for growth abroad."
