ITQAN showcases its eDiwan solution at GCC eGovernment meet in Dubai

eDiwan is a complete eGovernment portal solution that is modular and designed to automate business processes at government entities. It is built using Live link and Microsoft technologies and has been ported from a solution originally developed by Open Text, one of ITQAN's strategic partners.

The 13th edition of the GCC e-Government forum which featured a presentation from ITQAN is being organized by Datamatix and focuses on the use of e-Government services to deliver benefits to citizens and businesses in the Middle East.

Isam M. Ali, Knowledge Management Practice Manager at ITQAN who made a presentation on the benefits of eDIWAN at the Forum noted that e-government initiatives were a key imperative for governments in the GCC. Stating that eDIWAN enables government entities to seamlessly integrate with each other, he said that the solution would bring about substantial savings in cost and time.

eDiwan integrates fully with existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, extending the capabilities of ERP to automate paper documents, and manage and store data.
