ITQAN showcases its eDiwan solution at GCC eGovernment meet in Dubai

ITQAN, the region's leading systems integrator showcased its unique eDiwan solution at the ongoing 13th GCC eGovernment and Services Forum being held from 26 - 30 May 2007 in Dubai.
The 13th edition of the GCC e-Government forum which featured a presentation from ITQAN is being organized by Datamatix and focuses on the use of e-Government services to deliver benefits to citizens and businesses in the Middle East.
Isam M. Ali, Knowledge Management Practice Manager at ITQAN who made a presentation on the benefits of eDIWAN at the Forum noted that e-government initiatives were a key imperative for governments in the GCC. Stating that eDIWAN enables government entities to seamlessly integrate with each other, he said that the solution would bring about substantial savings in cost and time.
"GCC countries have extensive experience in the e-government initiatives. With our experience of more than two decades in the market, ITQAN is proud to have supported the UAE's emergence as a leader in e-government initiatives," said Feras Al Jabi, General Manager of ITQAN.
eDiwan integrates fully with existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, extending the capabilities of ERP to automate paper documents, and manage and store data.
eDiwan provides numerous benefits including increasing employee productivity and efficiency, dramatically reducing paperwork, promoting integration with external government entities and providing the ability to offer real G2G Government to Government services as well as automating internal business processes within government entities.
