- PRESS RELEASE
Masraf Al Rayan, the GCC's only fully-fledged Islamic investment and commercial bank, has been recognized as a leading global Islamic bank after being invited to address the prestigious World Capital Markets and Islamic Funds Conference.
Masraf Al Rayan was honored in having not one but two of their finance experts address the conference. Manahil Makki, the bank's Head of Credit Risk, made a well received speech about the future outlook for Islamic Real Estate funds. Meanwhile, her colleague Dr. Badih Soubra, General Manager Product Development, was one of several experts leading a discussion highlighting Islamic banking trends and future opportunities.
Masraf Al Rayan CEO Adel Mustafawi sees the bank's involvement at the conference as proof of their growing reputation: "The invitation to address the World Islamic Funds Conference is evidence of the high regard in which Masraf Al Rayan is held in the Islamic banking industry."
"The bank has successfully recruited the very best banking experts, both from the GCC and around the world. It is recognition of the quality of our staff that, after only a short time in business, we were asked to speak alongside respected experts from financial institutions established for many years. The knowledge and experience that our banking experts possess is reflected in the range of innovative products on offer to Masraf Al Rayan's customers".
