- PRESS RELEASE
DaimlerChrysler Middle East has added two new regional websites to its Internet offerings with the introduction of www.mideast.chrysler.com and www.mideast.jeep.com.
The new interactive sites in English and Arabic will provide constantly updated information on the full Middle East range of award-winning Chrysler and Jeep vehicles as well as regional and international news, brand heritage, print and TV ads. There are also links to the main Chrysler Group and Jeep sites.
In addition, browsers will also be able to contact their local distributors and access their dedicated sites, which can share content and IT systems at different co-operation levels, to make brochure or even test drive requests as well get special offers.
"We are certain these web sites will be a big succeess and add considerably to our regional marketing activities," said Bruce D. Ohms, Sales and Marketing Director, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge, Middle East. "The interactive nature of the sites mean that view and request specific information on our award-winning range of Chrysler and Jeep vehicles not only from DaimlerChrysler Middle East but also from their nearest distributor. That's a personal service that many other sites cannot offer."
The new Chrysler and Jeep sites were developed in-house over a four-month period in conjunction with Advanced Master Website, a content management system provided by DaimlerChrysler headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany.
They join the bilingual Mercedes-Benz Middle East website which went on-line at the Middle East's International Motor Show in Dubai last year. The site currently attracts some 29,000 page visits and over 1.2 million hits a month with a split of 60:40 in favour of English-speaking users. It was joined by the DaimlerChrysler Middle East site earlier this year. A Dodge brand site will be added soon.
The websites recently received the Golden Web Award from the Inernational Association of Webmasters and Designers. Previous winners were cocacola.com and sony.com.
