Attended by 250 guests, representing 40 agencies, and 67 companies, 20 nationalities from 11 countries, the annual MSN Arabia symposium, 'The Connection 07', held in El Gouna, Egypt from May 10th -12th , 2007, was an unprecedented success, as the biggest private advertising and marketing event in the history of the region.
The Windows Live launch was a rich session showing the effect of web 2.0 on digital advertising and the strength of web 2.0 as a platform for advertisers; followed by a session on what is new and coming soon on MSN Arabia. The presentations were wrapped up by a session of questions and answers quoting Brian Kealy, "The Q&A session was by far the most prolonged and engaged that I have seen at this kind of event, and showed the great potential for conversion among your clients."

"This year's symposium was extremely successful due to the high level of enthusiastic participation of all the guests, in addition to the rich mix of content provided," he further added.
In addition, the program included social events such as the networking dinner and the gala dinner where the crowd interacted with some of the biggest and most influential group of experts working in the marketing and advertising field in the MENA region. The last day of the program was dedicated to team building activities, which were very well and enthusiastically received by all participants.
