It is staffed by several volunteers, including doctors, nurses, lawyers, social workers and psychiatrists who offer their services and aid to all victims of domestic violence - including men, women and children of all nationalities.
"The Centre is a crucial lifeline for the safety and security of all those affected by violence in their own home and Batelco is proud to help the Society offer assistance to some of the most vulnerable people in our community," said Shaikh Hamad.
Supporting charitable causes and contributing to a wide range of education and health initiatives remains a priority for Batelco.
