TAIB expands GCC footprint

TAIB Bank B.S.C. (c) announced that the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA) accorded approval for the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary in Qatar.

The subsidiary, to be called TAIB Bank Qatar LLC, has been granted authorization to carry on regulated financial activities in Qatar.

TAIB Bank Qatar LLC, which will be located in the prestigious QFC Tower in Doha, is expected to commence operations this coming July.

TAIB Bank B.S.C. (c), the Bahrain-based private bank that focuses on seizing regional investment opportunities for institutions and private clients, is listed on the Bahrain Stock Exchange and conducts business in the GCC, India, Kazakhstan, Continental Europe, the U. K. and the U. S.
