The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached AED3.5 billion, comprising 26.5 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached AED473 million during the same period.
The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during the 4th week of May 2007, reached AED2.7 billion, comprising 20.8 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached AED2.1 billion, which constitutes 16.3 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached AED594 million during the period.
Foreign investors purchase AED4 billion worth of shares on DFM in 4th week of May 2007
Dubai Financial Market announced that the value of shares bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during the 4th week of May 2007, reached AED4 billion, comprising 30.1 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
