ITV's Fiona Wilson joins City 7 TV as senior news anchor and producer

Wilson will anchor the live evening newscasts at 7 and 10 p.m. and contribute to training programs for journalists.

Wilson joins City 7 from Britain's ITV West where she was both presenter and reporter for the station's flagship news program. During her nine years with ITV, Wilson also wrote a column for Bristol's The Evening Post on the perils and pitfalls of being a working mother. Prior to ITV West, Wilson worked at HTV where she broke new ground by being their first video journalist and first female cameraperson.

Wilson has also spent time with The Sunday Times and Tatler. She remains an avid supporter of charitable causes such as The Variety Club, Down Syndrome Educational Trust, Children's Hospice South West and Riding for Disabled and looks forward to promoting charitable causes in the UAE.
