The Middle East's #1 job site will create a special career section on the website of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals to provide both students and fresh graduates with the most advanced tools to help their job search.

H.E Professor Khaled S. Al-Sultan, Rector of KFUPM, said: "Through this agreement, KFUPM students will benefit from unique and effective resources to identify the best companies and job openings in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East in the fastest and most efficient way."

He said: "Bayt.com's track record as the largest job site in the region will give our students a great deal of confidence as they embark on their job and career search."

As part of the alliance, KFUPM will be able to advertise its short courses in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf on Bayt.com.

Rabea Ataya, CEO of Bayt.com, said: "KFUPM is one of Saudi Arabia's most prestigious institutions of higher education, and it is a privilege to support the university's undergraduates and graduates. This alliance will promote the many benefits of online recruitment and encourage other job seekers in the Kingdom to harness the Internet to kick-start a great career

"The Internet is a great tool for young people to enter the job market, and Bayt.com has a proven track record in Saudi Arabia and across the region."

Through the co-branded careers portal, students will be able to access the largest network of jobs in the region and use online services to write a winning CV and cover letter, and to prepare for interviews. Automatic search agents can be activated to look for jobs while they are off-line and 'hot jobs' mailers will alert them to new opportunities.

The KFUPM Career Channel is already live and can be accessed by logging on to www.kfupm.edu.sa.

Rabea Ataya of Bayt.com added: "Bayt.com's Career Portal is especially popular amongst leading universities as it lends the student body easy, real-time access to current job opportunities with leading employers across the region, as well as a wealth of career advice. Universities can tap into the technologies and databases of Bayt.com and give their students a head start in the job market."
