RTA appoints nationals in key leading positions

HE Mattar Al Tayer, Board Chairman and Executive Director of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) issued a number of decisions to appoint elite of nationals in key leading positions for a number of agencies, departments and sections all over the RTA.
The decisions involved the appointments of Nazim Faisal Ali as Director of Maintenance Department in addition to his current position as Manager of Bridges and Tunnels Maintenance at the Traffic and Roads Agency. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from Concordia University in Canada in the year 2001 and occupied a number of positions including Head of Civil Maintenance Unit at Dubai Municipality. Mr. Ali enjoys large experiences including building designs, highway designs and research analysis of Taylor Bridge in Canada.
Among the appointees was Abdulla Yousef Al Ali as Director of Public Bus Department at the Public Transport Agency.
He holds a Master Degree in the Materials Sciences and Engineering from UAE University in the year 2001 and occupied a number of positions including Head of Traffic and Road Safety Department and Head of Traffic Movement Department at Dubai Police Headquarter. Mr. Al Ali maintains a number of experiences including the concrete establishments protection and maintenance, design and evaluation of roads maintenance, and tender techniques and construction contracts formulae.
The appointments also included Salem Abdul Rahman Saif Al Saleh as Director of Maintenance and Fleet Services at the Public Transport Agency. He holds an EMBA and International Marketing from Zayed University in the year 2005. Mr. Al Saleh has also a number of experiences with the Thuraya Telecommunications Company and Mechanical Engineering with the Gulf Aircraft Maintenance Company (GAMCO).
