Qatar Media Services launches new logo

Qatar Media Services (QMS) has launched its new logo signifying its switch over to international status after merging with the reputable French media firm JC Decaux (JCD).
Another launching ceremony took place on the 16th of May in Dubai at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel Under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hasher Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Director of Dubai Information Deparmtent.
The logo consists of rings representing the different divisions of the company and an arrow directed towards the central point signifying the objectives aimed at.
The function was enlivened with a musical performance by the famous Lebanese Singer Fares Karam and a display of acrobatics by an Austrian team. A spectacular backdrop of laser beams added colour to the occasion.
Addressing the gathering the Chief Executive Officer of QMS, Mr. Saad Al-Muhannadi said that the change of the logo signifies the company's vision for the future. The aim is to establish an international firm with broad perspectives. This has become possible by merging with JCDecaux which has an impressive presence in the whole world .Mr. Saad AL Muhannadi added that Qatar Media Services plans to set up offices in Morocco and North Africa on the strength of its worldwide experience. The logo comes as a symbol of this turning point in the company's profile.
Mr. Al-Muhannadi said that QMS has several divisions such as the Outdoor division which offers to its clients several options for outdoor advertising with optimum media mileage. The Event Department has a repertoire of well planned cultural events.
"We have so far organized the cultural festivals in Qatar for four consecutive years. They are the Doha Cultural Festival, The Summer Wonders, The Eid-ul-Fitr Festival and the Eid-ul-Adha Festival. We are also in good interaction with the Qatar Centre for Artistic Innovations.
As the sole media representatives of the popular Al-Jazeera network, Qatar Tv , Qatar Radio and Sawt Al Khalij, we are providing excellent media support for its various programs. We also represent several European media organizations," he said.
