i2 offers summer travel package

The promotion launches on May 31, 2007 in the United Arab Emirates and will be rolled out in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The promotion continues for a month, ending on June 30, 2007 for shoppers in the UAE. With the purchase of a Nokia phone, i2 customers will be treated to a ticket to the destination of their choice from a selection of 33 key cities in the Middle East, Europe, or Asia.

The promotion is valid for those departing from any one of the following airports:), Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah . Destination cities are spread across 3 continents and include: Amman, Bahrain, Beirut, Cairo, Casablanca, Damascus, Dubai, Kuwait, Oman, Tehran, London, Paris, Vienna, Rome, Barcelona, Geneva, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Prague, Mumbai, Delhi, Karachi, Chennai, Kolkatta, Goa, Lahore, Dhaka, Colombo, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Bali, and Manila.

Upon making the purchase, customers will receive a flight voucher and can either complete an online booking form or a paper version, indicating three preferred destinations and dates. Customers will then be contacted within 28 days to confirm bookings and arrange flight tickets.

Unlike other promotions of its kind, the i2 offer will not contain any limitations. "We won't be adding a laundry list of restrictions in the small print," said Jihad El Eit, Senior Vice President of Marketing for the i2 group. "We have not limited the promotion to a certain number of customers per day, or to a certain number of tickets or certain models. This is our way of saying thank you to our customers."
