Franchise Excellence officially launches Malaysia Office

Speaking on the official launch, FranExcel Managing Director, Gareth Parry, said, "We are really excited to have this office up and running and serving the growing Malaysian and wider Asian franchise markets. Our office in Kuala Lumpur will serve domestic franchisors looking to expand overseas, domestic franchisees seeking new international franchise concepts and also offer franchise development programs to help Malaysians develop their businesses into fully-fledged franchise companies."

Parry added, "During the launch, FranExcel also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PNS), a government-linked entity who help finance Malaysian franchise companies for domestic growth, international expansion and initial brand and system development. FranExcel will help PNS to identify companies suitable for international expansion and will then help to market those franchise concepts across our international network. This is very exciting for us."

The Malaysian economy is growing at a very healthy pace and franchising is seen at the highest levels as a route to developing exports and the creation of domestic jobs. Malaysia also has very strong trade and tourism links with the Middle East and their brands are very well accepted in the Middle Eastern market.
