Axiom Telecom starts its operations in Egypt opening 6 branches in Cairo and Alexandria

As part of the expansion strategy into the Middle East region, Axiom Telecom has chosen Egypt to be the first Arab nation - outside the Gulf area - to launch its operations.

Axiom Telecom, a leader and pioneer in the mobile telephones and accessories business through Retail and Distribution channels, aims at using the Egyptian market as a platform for launching its operations, which will then expand into North Africa, Iran and India.

In this regard, Mr. Faisal Al Bannai, CEO and founder of Axiom Telecom attended the inauguration of the Retail Outlets, Distribution and Service Centers across Cairo and Alexandria. "The Egyptian Market is one of the most important and largest markets in the Middle East. The number of users in Egypt is approximately 20 million and expected to double within the upcoming three years." said Mr. Faisal Al Bannai.

Mr. Faisal Al Bannai asserted that Axiom Telecom is an innovator in Customer Service and will strive to segment the market and deliver on customer needs and expectations. "We have studied the needs of Egyptian consumer as part of our plan to play an integral role in the growth of mobile business in Egypt," added Al Bannai.

Mr. Claude Farran, Country Manager- Egypt, said: "We will be focusing on two major sectors in regards to our business in Egypt. For the retail sector, we will be launching operations through six specialized retail outlets in Cairo and Alexandria, as part of the short term expansion plan, and then expanding our operations to be the leader in Mobile Retail business in Egypt".

Claude also added: "Axiom's innovative experiential zones will enable the customers to try the latest handsets from leading manufacturers, allowing clients to listen to music, take photos and see technology live on the phones. One of our key differentiators remains our customer service, and our well trained Egyptian staff will be able to answer all inquiries and provide advice to enable customers to make an informed decision on their next mobile purchase."

Mr. Mostafa Abou Al Fotoh, Country Distribution Manager, said: "For the distribution Channel, we will be working with a powerful network of partners to cover the areas of Upper Egypt, Delta, Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada, through our wholesale and Van Sales operations."

Mr. Amir Zayadi, Axiom Telecom Egypt Marketing Manager says: "Axiom clients will be able to benefit from the advanced services we provide to them exclusively, including the 'Express Maintenance Service' through our service centers operating seven days a week, in addition the two years guarantee on software and hardware at no extra fees". As for devices that require more than one day of repair, customers will be given standby phones to use until their original phone is repaired. "Last but not the least, a Price Protection Service will be offered to all customers as prices are constantly changing" added Zayadi. Other services will be announced gradually.
