Thomas Ehrlich appointed Area Vice President North East EMEA at Network Appliance

In this position, he is responsible for all NetApp sales activities in Austria, Switzerland, Eastern Europe and Russia, Scandinavia and the Middle East. In spite of cultural differences and great distances, Ehrlich is able to lead and motivate the over 70 sales staff members across the region as one team.

His promotion from Director to Vice President is a testimony to his success in developing and establishing structures, teams and processes for direct and indirect sales. Ehrlich has been at NetApp since 1999, where he was initially in charge of setting up sales channels in Central Europe. In addition to overall responsibility for NetApp's relationships with existing and new large customers, one of his major focal points in North East EMEA today is strengthening indirect sales.

Thomas Ehrlich studied information technology in Munich majoring in commercial information technology. After graduation, he worked as system engineer and channel marketing manager at SGI before joining NetApp in 1999. He reports to Andreas Koenig, Senior Vice President Sales EMEA.
