Located on Emirates Road, and occupying prime locations within Dubai Sports City, all three components are expected to open fourth quarter 2009.

The Arena Mall, the largest retail destination within Dubai Sports City, will offer approximately 1.4 million sq ft of gross lettable space over 2 floors. Presenting some 230 units, the mall's diverse retail mix will provide an appealing combination of specialty stores, everyday shopping outlets, and unique sporting and lifestyle products. There will also be a comprehensive range of fast food outlets and family dining venues, as well as a multi-screen cinema complex and an entertainment zone with a sporting theme.

Aside from the 70,000 individuals set to live and work within Dubai Sports City, the Arena Mall's trade area will encompass a population of approximately 800,000 people by 2010.

'To further ensure high and sustained footfall, the Arena Mall occupies an optimal location within Dubai Sports City, in close proximity to the cricket stadium and the multi-purpose outdoor stadium and directly linked to the 10,000 multi-purpose indoor arena,' states Khalid Al Zarooni, President of Dubai Sports City. 'With an exciting calendar of sporting and cultural events planned for these venues, tenants at the Arena Mall are in a great position to benefit from strong brand exposure.'

Understanding the critical importance of accessibility for both visitors and tenants, Dubai Sports City has conducted extensive traffic flow studies for the Arena Mall which will benefit from dedicated thoroughfares from the surrounding road network that will connect to ample parking facilities.

North Point, Dubai Sports City's larger retail and commercial hub, will provide visitors with an appealing combination of upscale casual dining and boutique shopping whilst stunning views of the waterfront promenade, outdoor seating and a Riviera-style atmosphere will add to its attraction. Situated at the northern end of Dubai Sports City's central waterway, at the heart of a vibrant downtown district, the venue will offer a gross lettable area of approximately 210,000 sq ft across 92 retail units.

Thousands of office workers and residents will be in the immediate vicinity and North Point will become a preferred destination for these individuals for shopping and dining which in turn will provide a captive audience for tenants.

Retail leasing has now commenced for both the Arena Mall and North Point.
