The two road shows road shows in the kingdom were held in Al Khobar on June 2 and Riyadh on June 4. The final road show will be held in Jeddah on June 6. Up to 400 travel trade decision-makers in these cities have confirmed their participation.
The DTCM Director Overseas Promotions, Mr. Khalifa Ali Buamaim, and DTCM Executive Overseas Promotions, Mr. Khalid bin Nassar, are participating in the road shows.
The road shows in the kingdom are seeing the participation of 45 hoteliers, tour operators, shopping malls and other organizations from the emirate.
The DTCM has already conducted Dubai Road Shows in Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain. These road shows attracted 46 co-participants, including hotels, hotel apartments, tour operators, car rental companies, in addition to Ski Dubai, Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) and Emirates Airlines.
More than 350 travel trade professionals and media representatives participated in theses programmes.
The department is launching 'Dubai Summer Getaways' promotion from June 15, to attract more visitors, especially the Arabian Gulf Cooperation Council (AGCC) member-states during the months of June, July and August. The Dubai Summer Getaways will run from June 15 to August 31.
