In anticipation of increased summer mobile phone usage, MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain) has preparations in place to deal with summer peak demand ensuring continuous network performance for both MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain) customers and inbound roaming customers.

In addition, MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain)'s leading number of reciprocal roaming partner agreements with more than 318 partners - allows customers travelling out of Bahrain to take advantage of international network services available on a worldwide basis.

MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain)'s outstanding performance involves a great deal of behind the scenes expertise and hard work. Operating twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, the Network Operations Centre manages and monitors MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain)'s nationwide network, ensuring maximum efficiency, availability and security across the entire network.

Dr. Alshatti confirmed: 'A combination of planning, technology and commitment allows our Network Operations Centre to monitor usage, anticipate changes and deal with them proactively, placing the network full capacity when needed to support customer use. Our nationwide network capability spans the kingdom operating 2G, 3G and 3.5G networks. It was MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain) who introduced this level of quality into the Bahrain market.'

To ensure optimum outbound roaming services, MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain) currently has 318 voice partners in 145 countries, 3G roaming partner agreements with 34 voice operators in 25 countries, GPRS roaming partner agreements with 137 roaming partners in 71 countries.
