The website will include bid details, type, receiving date, application viewing date and participation conditions. H.E. Reyad Aylan, Assistant Manager of the Department of Financial and Administrative Affairs, and Manager of the Contracts and Purchases Department in Sharjah Municipality, assured that the new services will give the majority of suppliers the ability to preview bids. However, the bids will only be listed on the website during the period between subtracting bids until the results are announced. The services were launched to respond to the high number of bids being announced by the Municipality.
At the same time, the Department of Contracts and Purchases has issued a guide for contracts and purchases procedures, which includes the jobs and duties of the Department. The Department aims to deal with the large demand for services by dealing with transparency with all the suppliers in order to get best services with the best prices.
