Aftron launches Beta LCD TVs

The new televisions combine groundbreaking technological features with cutting-edge designs and transform home entertainment.

Aftron's Beta series includes the 42' AFLCD4230 and 32' AFLCD3230. Their high tech specifications - 1600:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 1366 x 768 pixels - ensure viewers experience thoroughly life-like images. It is aesthetically easily the best looking flat panel LCD in the market with the shining black 'piano' finish.

Ajoy Mathew, Aftron's General Manager, said, 'The new Beta range, incorporating advanced technology, increases the options available to viewers. It brings them closer to the action in a way few other flat panel LCDs can.

The Beta series LCDs are made in Korea. They feature two High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) connections, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a brightness rating of 500-cd/m2 and horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 170-degree. The 32' TV weighs in a gross 23kgs and can easily be taken as a carry-home item during the summer vacations.
