Kurdi Group Chief Executive Officer Obaida Kurdi said this project aims at providing low and mid-income families with ideal and affordable houses whose monthly installments are equal to monthly rent average.
"This pioneering project will enable a large number of families to own houses through simple monthly installments"Mr. Obaida said.
In addition to the housing units, the project includes public parks, service areas, a gym, a mall, recreation centers, restaurants, a pharmacy, a clinic and a nursery.
The Majestic project is considered one of the biggest initiatives that were designed for the low and middle income families in Jordan. The best materials and equipment were used in building it. For example, the bathrooms are either UAE, Spanish or Italian-made, every house has air conditioning units, the windows are made from aluminum or double glass. Every building has an elevator, a central satellite system and parking while each unit also has independent water and electricity meters.
The infrastructure of the project has also been designed so that a water network with 300 mm tubes relays water from the Water Authority's public water network. Sewage water is also relayed through a special network to the Marj Al Hamam sewage network. A storm-water drainage network extends under the main road with 1200 mm tubes.
Electricity will be supplied through a 10 MA station to ten subsidiary stations to the housing units while phone and internet lines can be extended to each unit.
