ETA Group showcases premium Facilities Management Services at FM Expo 2007

Engineering Maintenance Co. (EMCO) and Modern Building Maintenance Co. (MBM), divisions of the ETA Ascon Group of companies showcased their range of services at the FM Expo 2007 which took place at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.

Cost effective facilities management solutions offered by both companies, encompass a wide range of services ranging from interior fit outs and civil projects to the maintenance of air conditioning, plumbing systems Janitorial, housekeeping and landscaping and administrative support services.

Mr. Abid A. Junaid, Executive Director, EMCO, said that the facilities management market is set to enter a period of exceptional growth:

"The Middle East is experiencing phenomenal growth in construction, reflected in a plethora of new projects and developments from hotels and resorts to airports and commercial complexes. In turn, this growth is fuelling a rise in the demand for high-quality facilities management."


According to a survey conducted by the Middle East Strategy Advisors (MESA) in 2006, the facilities management market in the Gulf region is worth US$892 billion over the next twenty-five years. The figures released by the show that the FM market in the UAE alone is potentially worth US$704 billion, with the markets in Saudi Arabia and Qatar worth US$96 billion and US$92 billion respectively.
