Mr. Abid A. Junaid, Executive Director, EMCO, said that the facilities management market is set to enter a period of exceptional growth:

According to a survey conducted by the Middle East Strategy Advisors (MESA) in 2006, the facilities management market in the Gulf region is worth US$892 billion over the next twenty-five years. The figures released by the show that the FM market in the UAE alone is potentially worth US$704 billion, with the markets in Saudi Arabia and Qatar worth US$96 billion and US$92 billion respectively.
