Adia $40bn Japanese investments

The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority has invested around $40bn in Japanese assets according to Takuma Hatano, the country's Ambassador to the UAE and cited by Gulf News. Hatano estimated that Adia's total overseas investments have now hit $700bn and he believed more UAE based firms would be looking to invest in Japan. The UAE exported around $25.8bn worth of oil to Japan last year.
