Saudi to up competitiveness

Saudi Arabia wants to be in the global top ten in terms of investment competitiveness by 2010 according to the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority, reported Gulf News. Sagia is to take responsibility for implementing agreements set up with various government departments aimed at making investment more straightforward in the kingdom. Saudi is hoping to attract foreign and joint venture investment worth around $80bn in 2007.
