Dubai Knowledge Village showcases potential at HDI-MEA Conference and Exhibition

Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV), member of TECOM Investments, highlighted its value proposition as a regional hub for Human Resource Development and Human Resource Management at the HDI-MEA conference and exhibition held from 26-31 May in Cairo, Egypt.

The premier event in its second year, sponsored by DKV, touched upon issues critical to call centre and technical support professionals. The conference focused on globalisation, outsourcing and service management best practices.

HDI-MEA, a business partner of DKV, is the world's largest membership association for technical service and customer support professionals.

Hasan Makansi, Partner Development Manager at DKV, in his keynote address showcased the unique potential of the cluster. Other high profile speakers included Dr Tarek Kamel, Egypt's Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Dr. Ahmed Darwish, Egypt's Minister of State for Administrative Development, and Othman Sultan, CEO of du, UAE's second telecom operator.
