Public kitchens to move

Public kitchens located in villas in Sharjah have been given until the end of August to relocate to commercial premises or face possible closure, reported Gulf News. The local municipality has cited stricter health and safety regulations as the reason for the ruling which will affect around 40 kitchens in the emirate. Kitchen managers have said the higher rents in commercial properties will lead to most going out of business.
