This service complements Etisalat's other push email services providing customers access to their email anywhere at any time.

Any POP3 or IMAP email can be registered for the Etisalat Pushmail service, including EIM mail, Gmail, AOL, Yahoo mail plus, Hotmail plus and MSN premium accounts. Preferences for email viewing, editing and other actions can be personalized by the user on their access device.

Essa Al Haddad, Chief Marketing Officer, Etisalat, said: 'The Etisalat Pushmail service is the latest way for Etisalat customers to stay in touch. It allows anyone to send or receive emails instantly. It is another exclusive service that Etisalat has brought to the market this year, which are helping to extend Etisalat's reputation as a leader in innovation both in the Arab world and beyond.'

Etisalat is offering its customers a 30-day free trial when registering for the service any time from today until 9th July, 2007 . Customers simply need to send an SMS containing ' a pm ' to 1010, and they will receive an SMS with further instructions and settings. After completion of the trial period, Etisalat Pushmail service is available with unlimited local 'access' for a monthly fee of AED 45. Standard Roaming charges will be applied when used outside the UAE in over 190 Roaming Partners Networks Worldwide. After the initial one-month promotion period, customers can still enjoy a 14-day free trial period by following the same instructions.

At any time during or at the end of the trial period, customers can update their subscription with new email addresses by sending 'r pm (emailaddress)' by SMS to 1010. For example, for adding an 'EIM' account, the SMS would be 'r pm user@eim.ae'. If the customer changes their mobile phone at any time, the service can be transferred to the new phone by sending 's pm' as an SMS to 1010 from the new handset.

Etisalat Pushmail allows users to access and download email attachments depending on the memory capacity of the mobile phone and the phone attachment format supported. The service can be used on a wide variety of mobile phone platforms, including Java, Pocket PC, Smartphone, Windows mobile and Symbian phones. Advanced Encryption Standards (AES) provides security and ensures that only the user can log into the account, and that data is not replicated.
